What is the general dilution ratio for detergent in Kärcher pressure washers?
Article Although there is some variation from model to model, a general guide would be a ratio of 18:1. That is to say that the detergent is drawn and dispensed at a rate of 1 unit for every 18 units of water. Roughly 1 quart of detergent (soap) will be siphoned and dispensed with every 18 quarts of water. Remember that the Vario Power spray nozzle must be in the MIX setting (electric pressure washers) or that the low pressure (black) detergent nozzle must be attached (gas pressure washers) in order for the detergent to be dispensed.

Use only approved pressure washer detergent, such as Kärcher's SoapPacs, and never run bleach or solvents through your pressure washer.
