Attach the Detergent Nozzle to your Kärcher pressure washer and apply Kärcher’s environmentally friendly Exterior House Cleaner detergent to a 6’ to 8’ wide section, working from the bottom up. Allow the detergent to soak for 3-5 minutes, rewetting as necessary to keep the detergent from drying on the surface. The detergent will break down any oils or surface film for more effective cleaning. [Note! For stained wood siding, be sure to test in an inconspicuous area before applying detergent to the entire surface.]
Power Clean:
For best results, attach Kärcher’s Rotating Wash Brush and clean the section from the top down in a side-to-side motion. For difficult to reach areas, use Kärcher’s 50 ft. Extension High-Pressure Hose. For second story cleaning, select a nozzle with a narrow spray pattern, such as the 0° or 15° nozzle, for increased reach. As you work your way down the siding, switch to a nozzle with a wider spray pattern, such as the 40° nozzle. [Note! Do not attempt to operate a pressure washer while standing on a ladder. Doing so may result in injury.]
Rinse Surface:
Be sure to rinse thoroughly as a final step. Attach the 40° nozzle and maintain a distance of at least 10” from the glass or siding.
For optimum results, always test a small inconspicuous area before starting a cleaning project with your pressure washer.
