Cleaning a Patio or Driveway


 

Prepare area:
Remove all furniture items and vehicles from the area to be cleaned. Attach the 25° nozzle to your Kärcher pressure washer and spray away any leaves or loose dirt.

Apply detergent:
Attach the Detergent Nozzle and apply Kärcher’s environmentally friendly Deck & Patio Cleaner detergent to the surface and allow it to soak for 3-5 minutes. The detergent will break down grease and oil residues for more effective cleaning.

Power clean:
Reattach the 25° nozzle to your pressure washer. Working away from the pressure washer, begin cleaning in a continuous side-to-side sweeping motion. Keep the nozzle moving constantly at all times and at a consistent distance to prevent uneven cleaning.

Power clean, part 2:
Use the Dirtblaster™ Rotary Nozzle to clean steps, corners and other tight spots. [Warning! Avoid lingering in one spot to prevent the Dirtblaster’s powerful jet from damaging surfaces.]

Rinse Surface:
Give the area a final rinse using the 25° nozzle. This will flush away any remaining detergent or dirt.

For optimum results, always test a small inconspicuous area before starting a cleaning project with your pressure washer.
