Cleaning a Pool, Spa or Whirlpool


Prepare Area:
Remove furniture and miscellaneous items from the pool or spa area. Using the high-pressure setting on the Vario Spray Wand (1), clear away any leaves or loose dirt from the surface of the pool, spa or whirlpool.

Power Clean:
Working away from the pressure washer (and away from the pool/spa edge), clean with a side-to-side motion while pushing the dirty water away from the cleaned area. Clean filter cages quickly using the Vario Spray Wand’s high-pressure setting (1). The Kärcher 33’ Extension Hose can extend your range for cleaning large pool areas. Use the Kärcher Soft Bristle Wash Brush to remove filmy residues that can form at the pool’s water level. The Drain and Pipe Cleaning Kit is also great for cleaning filtration systems.

Tip:
Tip: If you don’t want the runoff from cleaning to go through the pool’s filter, clean from the pool drain out towards the perimeter of pool area.

(1) If your Kärcher pressure washer came equipped with a Quattro-Nozzle Spray Wand, use its high-pressure fanjet setting for similar results.

For optimum results, always test a small inconspicuous area before starting a cleaning project with your pressure washer.
